Please be advised that the South Fork III CDD pool will be closed from Wednesday, August 27 through Thursday, August 28, 2025.
This temporary closure is necessary to perform a scheduled shock treatment. During the summer repairs, the pool was briefly closed, and in that time some algae developed. While most of it has already been treated, a few small areas remain—so we are conducting an additional treatment to ensure the pool is fully clear of any algae.
As a reminder, algae can enter pools in several ways, but black algae especially can be introduced by bathing suits or skin after swimming in lakes or the ocean. For this reason, we require all residents and guests to make use of the rinse station before entering the pool, which helps keep our pool clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to reopening the pool on Friday, August 29th, 2025.
